Konsekvens | Økt risiko for erytem/flushing (i størrelsesorden 7-20 % opplever dette, bl.a. avhengig av størrelsen på alkoholinntaket). |
Håndtering | Monitorering: Pasientene bør infomeres om at inntak av alkohol kan gi økt risiko for erytem/flushing i områder der krem/salve er brukt. Hos pasienter som har fått erytem/flushing som bivirkning av tacrolimus, bør en nøye anamnese på evt. inntak av alkohol (inklusive alkoholholdige legemidler) gjennomføres. |
Mekanisme | Usikker mekanisme. Økte nivåer av acetaldehyd og økt frigjøring av vasoaktive peptider lokalt i huden er foreslått. |
